Biography

Enrico Basso was born in 1989 in Torino, Italy, and has been studying piano since 1997.

He joined several bands as keyboard player between 2006 and 2014, mainly in music genres such as progressive rock and funk/soul. In that period he has been actively composing original songs and performed more than 150 concerts in Italy, Netherlands and Germany.

He has always been fascinated by Film Music, especially by classical and neoclassical hollywood artists such as Erich Korngold and John Williams, but it has been in the last year that Enrico decided to approach film scoring and orchestration in practice.

Enrico is now participating to several online film scoring competitions, in order to master his knowledge of orchestration and instrumentation, and to develop his own original style.
